Executive Manager, Financial Accounting Services Sydney

You will be responsible for establishing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders via prioritisation and monthly reporting. Aligning the team’s vision and goals to those of senior management as well as establishing a robust control environment in response to rapid business changes and operational risks via the creation and management of core financial teams.

You will play a key part in the establishment of governance and prioritisation of key business transformational programs including technology changes, operational changes, and structural offshoring changes. Building trusted relationships with senior management across business groups to evaluate risks and prioritisation of transformational changes will be important.

Furthermore, you are to lead the execution and governance of accounting and financial management related policies and procedure and manage monthly statutory and management reporting, quarterly reporting, and the half year and full year reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a large complex organisation. You will be confident in acting with a high degree of autonomy and intuition to engage in, and assist, in defining, prioritising, and organising competing tasks to meet deadlines.
CA or CPA qualified. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as you will assist with synthesising complex or diverse information. Your intuition and experience in complementing data to drive Commercial Programs will help teams achieve their targets. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to get messages across to a range of audiences across and outwards from the business unit.
