Multinational company making changes to the local business, needs the hands on skills of an experienced and qualified financial director with proven technical, commercial and transformation experience.
You will lead and develop the local finance team and drive the commercial analysis and reporting within Australia and report back to the German parent company. Your technical, systems, stakeholder management and commercial, business partnering skills, will be needed to succeed in this role.
You will use skills in compliance and reporting, IFRS, statutory reporting and taxation, as well as budgeting, forecasting and controls.
You will further develop financial processes and controls, you will have a small team working with you and be hands on. A confident, competent finance leader who can engage and motivate staff is needed. Financial projects, working with the international CFO and with the local MD, on more strategic issues, will also form part of this high profile interim role.
CPA/CA qualified with demonstrable and significant experience working for a multinational ideally within the food and or manufacturing industry at a senior level. You may have previously been involved in transformation and have proven ability to manage teams, and deliver financial results in a timely manner and improve on current controls. Costings and project background would be beneficial. You will have worked in dynamic growth environments and be used to changing priorities and stakeholders who need a true business partner.
Initially starting on an interim fixed term basis, approx 12 months and may extend for the right person. Must be able to drive south-east of Melbourne CBD and commit. Salary $180,000-$200,000 depending on skills and experience.
