The role will involve managing a diverse team, providing leadership, guidance and development to support a high performing culture. You will be required to manage the finance and accounting operations of the group to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with all relevant financial statutory and regulatory requirements. This includes managing group tax obligations and overseeing the treasury, payroll and transactional functions.
This is an excellent role for either an experienced Financial Controller or someone looking to take a step up with their managerial experience. A commercial mindset with a strong sense of accountability is important as you will be a trusted advisor to the Group CFO. CA/CPA qualifications are essential and ideally you have experience within the Big 4 and/or have had exposure to an APRA regulated environment. Superior verbal and written communication skills are mandatory as is a high level of integrity, resilience and intellect. Lastly you must be trustworthy and be able to “drive and own a function” within a large organisation.
