Complex, growing and high profile investment business looking for immediate technical and commercial skills in the finance team.
You will work with the CFO and manage a small, high calibre technical and compliance team. You will be take over from a current incumbent and ensure the ongoing running of the finance function during a permanent recruitment process. Your team will be responsible for over financial integrity and compliance and you will ensure processes and functions flow, including GST, FBT, Month end, variance analysis and commentary.
You will also use your higher knowledge around accounting standards and tax effect accounting to add value to the CFO and the broader business. You will also work on board and tax papers and work closely with internal stakeholders and externally with banks and auditors.
The CFO will also need you to step up into a broader role, during the contract, as they are working on a project and we will need elements of the CFO role covered.
CA, Big 4 with Financial services experience and proven ability to manage a small team and deliver financial results in a timely manner. Must have worked in dynamic growth environment and be used to changing priorities and stakeholders who need a true business partner.
This role will interview and commence immediately as you will been given a hand over from the current incumbent. You then have a great opportunity to shine in this role and add value and if interested, can be considered for the permanent role. The rate depends on experience and a guide is $800 per day. The permanent role will be around $180,000-$220,000 depending on skills and experience.
