This leading multinational has extensive operations globally and a large and successful distribution business here in Australia. This has been driven by acquisitions and organic growth.
Reporting to the Controls and GL Supervisor this role will have control and accountability of the organisation’s financial transactions. The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L month end analysis, inventory reporting, FBT returns, monthly management reporting, assisting with budgets and quarterly reporting requirements and managing the cut-off testing process.
You will be CA/CPA qualified with demonstrable experience from a multinational organisation preferably from a similar industry background. You will have knowledge of inventory, SOX testing and multiple entities. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who has previously ideally had staff supervisory responsibilities. Excellent communication skills and business partnering are needed for you to fully succeed in this role.
Someone who is highly competent, adaptable and reliable is essential. Understanding of AR, AP, GL and inventory modules within a commercial environment are essential as well as strong Excel skills.
The salary package on offer is c.$95,000 + Superannuation. For someone who enjoys working in a complex and busy environment this is a fantastic opportunity.
