The primary purpose of this role is to work closely with the CFO assisting with financial advice, analysis and decision support to stakeholders and clients. You will also take ownership of interesting upcoming projects including implementing Integrated Reporting. Other responsibilities include accounting data verification, account reconciliations, variance analysis, procedures and processes as well as the development and maintenance of high quality procedural documentation and standards. The role will contribute to the implementation of a number of projects and the ongoing continuous refining and redefining of the Finance function.
You will ideally have a degree in Accounting and be CA or CPA qualified. An excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential and a ‘can do’ attitude. You must be able to work independently and also as part of a team. You must also be detail oriented with prior experience in a similar role. This is a very small team so you need to be able to roll up your sleeves and enjoy being hands on. A willingness to learn and grow will be key. Prior experience of implementing an integrated reporting process will be highly advantageous.
Permanent role; $120K to $130K plus super depending on experience with excellent benefits; Varied role.
