Opportunity to “give back” in this commercially run NFP located in the western suburbs of Sydney.
As the first point of contact for all health & safety concern, you will develop and continually update safe work practices, safe work method statements and standard operating procedures. You will comply with all legal, ethical and regulatory requirements. You will undertake WH&S projects as required, and lead rehabilitation and return to work program. You will coordinate monthly WHS meetings and reporting requirements, and assist with the management of work cover claims. You will also be responsible for the implementation of a new WHS system.
You will possess excellent interpersonal, communicative and problem-solving skills and have previous experience of effectively managing the workplace health and safety procedures within the care industry. You will be aware of the current WHS legislation relating to care workers. You will be highly organised with strong administration skills. Ideally some WHS system implementation or WHS change management exposure. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly regarded.
This is a permanent full time role however there is an opportunity for part time for the first few weeks. The role is paying between $65k and $70k + super with access to NFP benefits.
